My God It's Monday

Yay, it's Monday! (thought I'd just switch things up a bit there)

I voted this morning. I love that you still go to the table with its cardboard privacy screen and put an 'x' by the name of the person you're voting for. No fuss, no muss, just that.

Well, the to do list this week is actually starting off slightly smaller than the to do list from last week, plus I have an extra day to do everything because I am home today. So that's a good thing, it means I'm very slowly beating it into submission. I think the list likes that, after all, it's my list ;)

I just realized I need to put update webpage down on the to do list, as I haven't in about a hundred years, at least that's what it feels like.

Less than a month until I go visit BA and Julia for Thanksgiving - I'm very excited!

The last two of the Chess special editions are out tomorrow at the distributors. I really do love the new covers for them. Both of them have a new scene - both cherries on top of the sundae scenes, too. The new book -- Pre-Game the pre-quel is available for pre-order now but will be out at the distributors on the 27th. Woo! (and how fun are all those pre's?)

It's a cold one this morning -- there was frost on the grass and I have to put on my winter hat and mitts. I didn't put on my winter jacket, but instead I put a hoodie on underneath the fall jacket. I'm guessing it'll go back up to being a little warmer than this soon enough. But Halloween can go a lot of ways. Some years you need your snow suit beneath your costume, some years it's quite warm. We'll see what this year brings.

I have pumpkin pie and it is delicious. Now I want some pumpkin cookies, too. And a nice warm white hot chocolate with whipped cream on top from Second Cup. That stuff rocks.

Okay, I have forms to fill out, submissions to get ready and boys who are wanting my attention RIGHT NOW, so I'd better go and get to tackling that to do list.
