Smutterday - Time Out

As it's just out on it's own on all the distributors this past week, I thought I'd share a smutty excerpt from Time Out, my story from the His Rules anthology.

Time Out

Val and Chaz broke up after Chaz safeworded unnecessarily during a scene. Can they find a way to come back together?

A few months ago, Chaz safeworded during a scene, just because he was feeling neglected and bitchy. Val was understandably upset that his sub lied, and the two of them split up. Now it’s months later and Val is miserable to be around, so his friend sends him to his private lake house to vacation and get over himself. At least, that’s what Val thinks is happening. In reality, Chaz has also been lured to the lake house and is waiting there so they can hopefully get back together.

Despite his shock at finding Chaz at the lake house, Val decides to do a scene. Will it be the last scene they share or will they find a way to move past what happened?

Smutty Excerpt:

“Jingle bells, Sir.” Chaz held a ribbon decorated with a half-dozen bells in his left hand. All he would need to do was ring them or drop the ribbon and everything would stop.

“Perfect.” With that, Val pushed the gag between Chaz’s lips again. Then he took a step back, admiring the naked man tied up in front of him. He could take his frustration out on this fine little body, then send the son of a bitch home.

Chaz’s cock was hard, leaking at the tip and bound, the ribbon at the base of it red and tied like a bow on top of a Christmas gift. The sweet nipples had been stimulated, too, played with so they were swollen and standing at attention, the very air no doubt almost unbearable.

While Val appreciated the attention to details, it made him growl to think of someone else getting his boy in such a state, even if it had been done for him. He flicked one nipple, wanting it to burn, to sting like fire because of his touch. Chaz’s indrawn breath around the gag told him that he’d done it.

“You should have avoided nipple torture if you wanted to play with me. You know how I love it.”

And he knew how Chaz loved it. Which, of course, was why they’d been prepped for him. He imagined that had been Chaz’s idea, not Bailey’s. Chaz knew exactly what he liked.

Val pushed one thumb against Chaz’s left nipple, and the other against Chaz’s right clavicle. He was going to leave bruises. Beautiful bruises so Chaz would remember this for a long time. Val wanted Chaz to remember what he’d lost.

He watched the lovely eyes watching him, watched the hunger and need in them flare as he dug his fingers into Chaz’s flesh. The spots he left were white at first, then filled with a dark rose flush. Groaning, he leaned in and licked first at Chaz’s collarbone, lapping at his skin and pressing with his tongue to stimulate the abused flesh. Then he moved to Chaz’s nipple, pulling the whole thing into his mouth and sucking as hard as he could, using his teeth to scrape, to promise the bite that was coming.

Then he bit, letting Chaz feel the sharpness. He followed that up with more sucking, needing this—the taste of Chaz in his mouth, the feeling of that nipple so firm for him, the small movements Chaz made—far more than he would like to admit. He crushed Chaz against the smooth wood of the cross, making his boy feel it all—back and front.

Fuck, it was intoxicating. Chaz always had been.

Pushing his thoughts aside, Val continued to grind into Chaz, loving that he was dressed while Chaz was naked, knowing the scrape of his clothing against Chaz’s most sensitive skin was arousing as fuck, that the press of his belt buckle would leave marks.

He moved his mouth to Chaz’s other nipple, biting at his skin along the way. With each of his nips, Chaz tried to thrust into him, to bring their bodies together, but the ropes held Chaz too well for any real movement. Just how he liked his boy.

This was his game. His rules.

Wednesday Book Day - Cover Edition

I believe I shared one of these already, but the other two are new. Three out of print books that All Romance Ebooks have been kind enough to take and make available again. I think my favorite is The Moon, but they're all quite yummy!

Contest Winner and New Contest

About a million years ago (okay I exaggerate, but it has taken me forever to pull  a winner!) I ran a contest for a copy of Modifications: Mane and Tail (currently 25% off at both Amazon and All Romance Ebooks). So the winner is Jennifer W - congrats to you I have sent an email :)

And now a new contest. This one is for a little stuffed dragon --  doesn't he look sad? He needs someone to take him home. This is in honor of Blowing Smoke, currently on pre-order from All Romance Ebooks. Send me an email to seanmichaewrites @ gmail . com (no spaces) with "Dragon!" in the subject line before Friday at midnight and I will randomly pick a winner.

Blowing Smoke

Do dragons have soul mates?

Brinley Adams is pleased to get a job as assistant to elusive and reclusive billionaire Lindrom Drage. That the job requires him to live in the man’s home in the country is only a bonus. While he’s not exactly running away, he’s trying to leave behind a crazy, stalking ex, and Drage’s isolated home might be just the place to hide.

Lindrom Drage, known at home as Dragon, just wants an assistant who works out for longer than a month or two. He’s already gone through several in the last year, and he wants someone who can do the job and put up with his refusal to deal with anything that takes him out of his home. But when he meets Brin, he suddenly wants so much more than just a work assistant.

Brin feels the pull between them as strongly as Dragon does, but Brin doesn’t know Dragon’s true secret – the man is actually a dragon and he believes that Brin is his mate. The trick is going to be convincing Brin that neither of them is crazy, and that not only are dragons real, so are soul mates.

It's available for pre-order here.

Randomly Tuesday

Has it really been forever since I last did a blogpost? Why yes, yes it has.

I have an outstanding contest to pull a winner from, too. I even have the next contest figured out. I'm just... it's hot and I'm hibernating. Seriously, nothing zaps my energy and turns me into a troll who just wants to hide inside with the AC turned up high (or should that be turned down low? whatever means COLD) all the time.

Even this post is going to be short, but there are some great pics here to make up for lack of words - and they say a picture's worth a thousand words, right? (I think it depends entirely on the picture and the words in question, actually.)

Don't melt out there!

This guy here has it right:

And so does this guy:

And this guy is begging me to tell his story:

Suddenly Sunday

Goodness this past week went by so quickly and I feel like I hardly got anything done. That isn't true, I got a lot done, but somehow there's still a lot left to do. I keep thinking that eventually I will be completely caught up and this never happens, not even a little bit. So I think the error is in my thinking and I ought to change my thinking. It would probably be less stressful in the long run.

I was going to go to see The Secret Life of Pets this morning. but the massive line of parents with children waiting go in had me giving it a miss. Instead I picked up a few things I needed and went to the market. I can see the movie some other time.

I picked up cherries at the market. So very damn good. Cherries are my favorite fruit. Like ever. The thing is, I can't eat more than two, and sometimes not even two, at a time. Because they make the inside of my mouth break out and my throat swell. But not these local ones. I can eat as many of these as I like without allergic consequences. I figure that whatever they spray them with to ship up here from where we usually get them is what I'm actually reacting to. Anyway. Yay for cherries I can actually eat!

My AC has died. Thank goodness it wasn't a wretchedly hot weekend and they are coming on Monday to install a new one. It's the closest thing to a good time for it to happen as any. I'm crossing my fingers that the install goes well because we're heading into a hot week and I will be much happier if I'm not sweating to death just from sitting.

There were ducklings on the dog walk today - in the creek. These are a second nesting, because there were little ones back in May and they'd be all big by now and these most definitely were not. They really are adorable. The dog did not try to eat them.

I may still watch a movie today - just from here at home. I have a number on BluRay that I haven't seen yet. I do still have a couple of edits to do, though (well, four actually but they aren't all due back tomorrow) and several submissions to put together, then there's the beta of a story that so far I am enjoying the heck out of , so I'll probably hit that one up instead of the edits... ;)

I'm not making a to do list for tomorrow/this upcoming week until tomorrow morning. That really does seem like a Monday thing.

Enjoy what's left of the weekend!

Random Friday

I honestly don't know where the week went. Just seriously blink and it's Friday.

I have been hot all week long. Next week isn't looking any nicer. The week after that looks mildly better, but I know that they always hold out a couple nice days at the end of the two week period - they do the same thing in the winter, only showing it as a relief from the cold. And that day just stays at the end of the two week forecast, like we aren't going to notice it never actually comes to fruition.

There was ice on the pipes of the air conditioner outside. So I've turned it off and am waiting for it to melt. I'm hoping it just got itself overworked and that it'll be fine once it unfreezes. In the meantime at least it isn't nearly as hot today yet as they said it would be and there's no sunshine. And I've got a fan running to keep the air moving.

All Romance Ebooks took a bunch of my paranormal books from Amber Quill and Torquere. The first ones will be out in September and I have the cover for A Private Hunger. Isn't it yummy?

I'm thinking about going to to The Secret Life of Pets this weekend. It's an adorable looking movie. And I liked the Minion movie, so I have hopes for this one.

Is anyone else watching Battle Bots? I love this show. From the battle announcer to all the bots and their geek builders. It is so much fun. And it's really neat to see what works best - how the defense and offense makes a difference, along with what type of offense they've got. It would be a fun thing to use in a book. There could be two guys from different battle bot teams who want to hook up, but they just can't because they're on opposing teams, but they really want to. A modern day Romeo and Juliet, with battle bots.

I hope everyone has wonderful stuff planned for the weekend - have a great one :)

Contest Winner and New Contest

Waaaaay back on June 14, I had a contest for these two cute, adorable kitties who are meant to represent Hill and Cather from Shifter Rescue: Fading and Shifter Rescue: Freedom. I'm sorry it took me so long to pull the winner, but I finally did! It's Ilona F! Check out your inbox for an email from me.

The new contest is for a copy of Modifications: Mane and Tail, my brand new all new self-pub.

Just send me an email with "pony" in the subject line to seanmichaelwrites @ gmail . com (without the spaces) and I will pick a random winner on Monday morning. I have epub, mobi and pdf formats. (If you already have Modifications, you can have the ebook of your choice from my backlist instead).

Eric Martin is a successful businessman, but he’s lonely, he’s stressed, and there’s something missing from his life. At least that is, until he meets Daryus at a conference. Daryus promises he can offer Eric all his fantasies come true. A second meeting at a bar one night, leads Eric through a door into a world where he suddenly finds himself as the ‘pony’ of groom Soren.

Soren is a groom of human ponies who is working off his debt to a demon by training men in pony play. He enjoys his work a lot and one day hopes to have a pony of his own as a reward for all the good work he’s done and to celebrate the payment of his debt. When Eric appears in his stall, Soren believes that day has finally come.

Eric can’t believe the stables he finds himself in are real. His pony fantasies are just that – fantasies. Not only that, he’s never shared them with anyone, so how could Daryus have known? Between Eric’s confusion and lack of experience, Soren has his work cut out not only training Eric, but convincing him that this is real and that Eric doesn’t ever need to go back to his old world.

With a little demon magic and a lot of care, Eric and Soren just might find everything they need to be both happy and together.

Throwback Thursday - Strawberry Jam Edition

I was making jam on the weekend and it totally brought me back to my childhood.

Every summer growing up, we would make strawberry jam. I remember it being this huge production that took the better part of a day. Coming at it as an adult, I know that it takes 20-30 minutes, depending on how fast of a hull-shucker you are. But as a kid, it was a production, and it was long.

My mother would get out the mason jars and boil them to sterilize them. Then we'd shuck the hulls of the berries -- pinch off the green bits at the top of the berry. We had a couple of little silver pincer things that were made for just that and I can remember that those were far superior to the knives I use these days. It would take forever to do the hull-shucking, and then came the squishing.

I always got a go at the squishing - that's one of the easier parts to do. After that, all the sugar would get dumped in. My mother always cut back on the amount of sugar used. Then you had to let it sit FOREVER (aka ten minutes) and then you added the pectin and the lemon juice and had to stir it until your arm fell off (aka three minutes). I always remember my mother taking over for the last couple of minutes and stirring the crap out of that jam

Then you filled your bottles, put the lids on them, but not tight yet, and let them stand for a day or so before tightening the lids up and putting the jam in the freezer.

I had never had storebought jam for the longest time. Then one year, there was a miscalculation and we have two months with no homemade strawberry jam before it was strawberry season again. So my mother bought a jar of it. GROSS. We all hated the store bought stuff. It totally didn't taste like real strawberries. Just an odd sweetness. We just stopped eating jam until we'd made a new batch in the summer. That jar sat in the fridge for over a year before my mother reluctantly threw it away, 99% uneaten.

Funny addendum to that. When I was 10/11 we lived in Germany for a year. When we came back, all our stuff was in storage and we needed to find a place to rent so we stayed in one of those hotels with a mini-kitchen in the room for a couple of weeks. Well, our first morning back, my father went to the grocery store and picked up a loaf of bread, a pound of butter, and a jar of jam. When he got back, we all slathered the bread with butter and jam, took a bite and spat it out.

The bread was the wonderbread type stuff - what I now dub 'garbage bread' and prefer for toast, but won't eat untoasted - and we'd been buying bread at the local corner store for a year. And even if you weren't buying it yourself, it was always rye or some other hearty bread. So the 'garbage' bread tasted so gross. Then there was the butter. At the time you didn't find unsalted butter in the stores as a matter of course like you do today - it was all salted. In Germany, the butter in the stores was all unsalted, there was no salted stuff. So the whole sandwich tasted salty. Then there was the not homemade jam. Altogether, it was flavors we just weren't used to after being away for a year!

Anyway. Strawberry jam making is something I've done almost every year since moving out on my own. And now I wind up bringing a few jars to my folks whenever I make it.

I think I might have to go have a piece of bread with unsalted butter and jam on it now because I've made myself hungry!

Movie Tuesday

Watched a couple of movies this week - Oculus and Kung Fu Panda 3 and they couldn't have been more different!

Oculus was on Shomi and I don't usually go for scary movies, but this one seemed interesting to me from the description, so I went for it. And I have to say that I really enjoyed it. This wasn't a gory movie, and it wasn't boo around every single corner, so I wasn't freaked out ten minutes in and not wanting to see anymore.

The story was interesting, but even more interesting was the story-telling. It would move from the present to the past as the two main characters reminisced, but the further you got into the movie, the more seamless and mixed together the past and present parts were. It really gave the audience the feeling of not knowing what was real and what wasn't, which was the problem that the two main characters were having. I very much recommend it.

I also watched Kung Fu Panda 3 which had just come out on BluRay and it was totally cute and charming as I figured it would be. And Master Ugway was back! Funny how the turtles are often the Zen dudes in animated films - the other one I'm thinking of is the turtles from Finding Nemo.

The one thing I totally loved about this movie was the music for the bad guy. It made me smile every time it came on.

I will also admit that, like most animated movies, about twenty minutes in I had a nice little nap. Oops.

The Secret Life of Pets opens this weekend, and I just might have to make a trip out to see it.

Happy Tuesday!

My God It's Monday

I know I say this a lot but where the heck has the time gone? Not just this weekend which went ZOOM, but this year. I man it's July already, the year is half over. So - where the heck has the time gone?

This weekend was bracketed by Canada Day and July 4th, which is kind of neat. In many ways we're very similar, but there are definitely differences and I think our celebrations are good examples of that - so close, and yet not the same day.

Saturday morning was gorgeous and cool, which I adored. And I have to admit I enjoy the lack of humidity. Although we need the rain and we're just not getting it. Everything is so dry. We have late August grass and my cherries are still small and not ready for picking yet - so also quite late which is down to the lack of water.

I put out the first two collections of my old Amber Quill Press titles. Both Revving it Up and At the Office are BDSM story collections. I'll put the deets below. First I wanted to share a couple of sales.

Dreamspinner Stress has all ebook novels marked at $4 for today only. My titles are here. My novels with them include The New Boy, The Perfect Sub, Guarding January, and Amnesia.

And everything at All Romance Ebooks is on a 50% rebate today only. My self-pubbed books are all here.

Revving it Up, a BDSM story collection, brings together four stories that explore different aspects of BDSM. Hot and sexy, these stories sizzle right off the page.

In Revving it Up, Byron likes Jon but the spark seems to be gone. Or is it? A game of truth or dare and a plug just might be exactly what they need. Meanwhile, ten years ago Finn walked away from Tone and the BDSM lifestyle. Today Finn walked out of the kitchen and back into Tone’s life. Could it be too good to be true? Find out in Serving Mr. Right

Next, two couples explore the lifestyle, but from different angles in Spot the Difference. Could twins Christopher and Robin both find exactly what they’re looking for on the same night? Or is it too big of a coincidence to be real?

Finally, in Digging for Gold, Dusty’s job is to get Kenn and his injured shoulder back into shape in time for the Olympics. Will the beach volleyball player be able to focus on getting better and keep his hands off his new trainer?

NOTE: Revving it Up, Serving Mr. Right, Spot the Difference and Digging for Gold were originally published as individual stories by Amber Quill Press.

Available at All Romance Ebooks
(Amazon link will come when available)

They say all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, so it’s a good thing all the men in this collection of BDSM stories play as hard as they work.

At the Office brings together three BDSM stories that focus on working men. Opening with Office Hours, the anthology begins with tenure bound professor Thad Wells. When Thad literally runs into Jay, his head says no, his body says yes. Will his heart be safe as things heat up between them?

In Full Disclosure, Samuel needs a new personal assistant, but maybe new hire Jarrod is getting a little too personal. When Jarrod is sent in to investigate Samuel, he’s immediately attracted. Can he do his job and fulfill his own and Samuel’s fantasies at the same time?

Lastly, Working to Win finds power couple Jason and Bryan struggling. Together for six years, Jason and Bryan have lost their spark. Will some power play games at a winter cabin relight their fire?

NOTE: Office Hours, Full Disclosure, and Working to Win were all previously published as individual stories by Amber Quill Press.

It's available at All Romance Ebooks.
(I will share the Amazon link when I have it)
