Smutterday - Into the Looking Glass

Amber is re-releasing Into the Looking Glass for me and I'm so pleased. This is a quirky, fun little story and I thought it was the perfect choice for today's smutty excerpt.

Into the Looking Glass

Burke is on a mystical fast in the desert when a circling buzzard leads him to the most amazing little house in the middle of nowhere. At first he thinks the house and its owner are just a thirst-induced hallucination. Luckily for Burke, however, Kristopher is not a figment of his imagination.

Kristopher had some tough times in his life and moved to the desert to get away. He’s been waiting for something, or someone, to reinvigorate him, and he thinks Burke might just be the one to do it.
Can Burke and Kristopher find the strength to believe in fate?

It will be available at Amber Allure March 22.

Smutty Excerpt:

“I like it. I like it a lot.” Burke caressed the bird, the glass smooth and cold, warming up under his fingers.

“It’s yours.” Kristopher reached up, closed his fingers around it.

“Oh, I couldn—” The protest died on his lips. Yes, he could. And he would. “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome.” Kristopher’s eyes were dark, almost purple in the lamplight, edged with tiny wrinkles.

That big hand still held his around the bird, warm, calloused, but soft in spots as well.

Charmed, Burke leaned forward. He didn’t even think about it, he just leaned in and pressed their lips together. Kristopher’s damp hair fell all around him, those fingers moving against his hand. He moved his lips against Kristopher’s, and then slid his tongue along the line where they met. Kristopher tasted of fruit and man.

Those amazing eyes stared into him, the ring around the outside fascinating, addictive. He kept rubbing his lips against Kristopher’s and teasing with his tongue. He finally slipped it partway in and then stopped, taking a half step back.

Kristopher’s hand was still wrapped around his own as they both held onto the bird. It connected them, held them together.

“Is this okay?” He felt somewhat unsteady, like he had when he’d first arrived all starving and shaky and sun-struck.

“What do you think? Does this feel okay?”

“Yeah, it does. I know we haven’t known each other long at all and I just kind of landed on your doorstep.” Following that buzzard. The one in his hand that was warm now from his and Kristopher’s body heat.

“Mmmhmm. Chasing a bird.”

“Yeah, I did. I am. Whatever.” Burke leaned in again. He’d given Kristopher time to object, right? He could get lost in this now? Because he could. He already felt himself falling head first. Down the rabbit hole and into Kristopher’s arms.

Kristopher’s chuckle vibrated his lips, made him smile. When Kristopher stepped closer, though, that heavy cock pressing against him, that made him moan.

He shifted his hips and their cocks rubbed together. His jeans and Kristopher’s towel made a strange sound. He’d bet their skin would make good sounds. He knew it would feel good.

The towel didn’t last long at all, the cloth just fell to the ground, giving him all that skin to touch. Kristopher was unashamed and beautiful, and he made Burke want. He forgot all about rubbing against Kristopher in favor of sliding his hands over the lean belly, the prominent hips. He touched, his fingertips loving Kristopher’s skin. They moved together, rocking faster and hotter than he’d expected, Kristopher’s cock full and heated for him.

“My jeans,” he gasped. He just had the one pair right now and they were only just clean, and, damn it, he might not be that experienced, but he didn’t want to cream them like he was a teenager again. Besides, all this lovely skin had to feel better to rub against than material.

“Are definitely in the way.” Kristopher’s fingers nudged the waistband. “Off.”
