Randomly on a Wednesday

Missed any sort of weekend post. Missed My God It's Monday. Missed Movie Tuesday. O.o

Of course since Friday I've had six edits drop into my mail box and 5 of those are novels... there's ten cover art forms due, and I've got at least a dozen blog posts to write... yes, that's me you see running around screaming and waving my arms in the air, totally flailing.

Since I updated my iPhone, several times a day it beeps at me and tells me I need to breathe. it runs through about a minute of breathing for me if I hit okay instead of snooze. I really need the zen right now so I'm trying to do it at least once a day.

I tell you what has made me happy and less stressed, though, is hitting the love button on posts on FB today - for most folks you get a little fireworks explosion of hearts when you do that. It's a little bit addictive, so while it's fun and happy making, it's also taking time from when I should be working on, well anything really, but especially edits.

All this editing is also cutting into my organizing October time. See, I'm planning a Halloweenpalooza for the entire month of October. There will be daily giveaways of books, weekly non-book fun giveaways and a grand prize on the 31st. Now if I could just find a half hour here and there to get myself properly organized... because if I don't, I can guarantee you that I will be playing catch-up the entire month and getting Halloween themed prizes out in December!

I wanna do a post about the new TV season, but that's going to have to wait. Maybe I'll save it for next week's Movie Tuesday. If my head hasn't exploded by then ;)

Okay, I've got to get back into the fray.

Quick Humping Day update

OMG, so busy. This always happens to me in November (although this year it started in... well, I was going to say September, but really January would be more accurate!). Anyway, it's for a good cause - I'm trying to get most everything wrapped up before November 18, because that's when I go visit BA and Julia for Thanksgiving (of the American variety). This is now a long-standing tradition and I look forward to it every year. There's lots of laughter, relaxation, food, laughter, fun, laughter, sight-seeing, writing and more laughter. Needless to say I have a fantastic time and they are the best hosts ever.

So here I am trying to get everything done so the amount of things I need to do while away is low.

I have a few books coming out this month. The next book in the Shifter Rescue series will be out. Claws follows directly on Scales and rounds out Drill and Az's story. I have a self-published novel coming out - Dom, Sub, and Boy: Beginning -- the cover of which is currently my background. And also the pre-order for The Biker's Dom will be available at the end of the month!

Then it'll be December already and the many Christmas stories I wrote will be coming out. Unto Us The Time Has Come is a part of Dreamspinner's advent calendar and will also be available as a stand alone. Five Golden Beads is a short story from Changeling Press. Comfort and Joy is a novella from Replendence and Window Dressing is a part of Bound to be Naughty - ARE's series of Holiday books - that one might be available for pre-order soon!

Oh yes, there will be a Hammer novel and a Mannies novel, too. Plus I have a new BDSM series starting with Dreamspinner. The Iron Eagle Gym's The New Boy will be the first in that series and I believe it'll be out in December as well.

Okay, so maybe that's why I'm so damn busy right now... ;)

Anyway, I really need to get back to writing blurbs and going through edits!

Suddenly Sunday

Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Canadians.

I had turkey day food  yesterday as that's what worked best for the majority of the rellies. Today shall be a a fairly easy-going day with a smaller group of rellies and tomorrow is travel day, heading back home.

The trees are starting to go, but I'm hoping they'll be in full on color on the way home.

I have an edited manuscript and a cover for the next Fairytale Shifter story - this one is Rapunzel. I'm hoping to be able to have it out before next weekend. I can't wait to share Joe the gorilla shifter and Rafe the giraffe shiter's story.

I do love sitting by a fire in the evening, it's quite gorgeous. I don't, however, enjoy the way my clothes smell post fire sitting! Laundry is being done as I type.

There have been lots of pumpkin yummies eaten this weekend. Pumpkin soup. Pumpkin pie. Pumpkin cookies. Pumpkin cheesecake bars. I may be sick of pumpkin stuff by Halloween, but probably not.

It's slightly warmer here than at home, but not terribly so, I'm a happy camper.

I've taken a peek at my email, and there's lots of edits and stuff waiting for me. I'm on holiday though, so they'll have to wait until Tuesday. But it means I'll have another busy week coming up. They all seem to be busy lately. This is a good thing, though.
