Not only Monday but February 29! I've always loved leap year, that extra day that they slipped in to make sure we stay as close to the actual year as possible. Growing up, I always wanted my birthday to be on the 29th of February, because I thought that would be so cool. I still think it must be kind of cool.
I have two publishers with leap day sales on for today only.
Changeling Press has 15% off your order (1 time only) with the code Leap2016 applied at checkout.
Amber Quill Press has 60% off the entire store, discount is applied for you.
There's still too much on the old to do list, but I'm trying to be very zen about it.
And I'm making bread. Gotta love the breadmaker. Today's loaf is supposed to be a crusty french loaf. We shall see. I'm letting the whole thing cook in the machine rather than taking it out after the kneading portion and doing the res by hand. Sure baguettes would be nice, but I'm giving myself points just for making it at home in the first place.
The weather here continues to flip flop between well below freezing, around freezing and a little bit above freezing. So walk like the ground is trying to make you fall is the order of the day because the moment you stop paying attention is when you'll hit that hidden patch of ice and go flying!
I might have to make soup for supper to go with my crusty french loaf. I do believe I have everything I need for garlic chicken soup... Maybe some chocolate cake for dessert to go with it. Leftoevers would abound, which is always a good thing because I am essentially lazy when it comes to making food. Lazy with occasional flashes of I could make that.
I hope Monday is treating you well.

Smutterday - Bitten
And here are the deets and a smutty excerpt for Bitten.
Anton has lost almost everything he holds dear, his apartment, his life in the city, and his long-time friend and butler, Jackson, who has been kidnapped by a rival pack. The one thing he still has is his lover and mate, Greg, who is learning to be a werewolf, even as they try to put their lives back to rights.
Determined to get Jackson back, Anton approaches the werewolf pack that’s his to lead by right, but that he’s largely ignored. They agree to help him, but Anton has to embrace his inner wolf to work with them, and to help Greg come to terms with what he is.
Meanwhile, Jackson is trapped—hurting and beaten—praying for rescue that looks unlikely, even as his time is running out and Greg is convinced he’s going crazy, fearing he’s hearing voices that won’t go away.
As pack Alpha, it all falls to Anton to keep his people safe, but there are forces at work that even the strongest werewolf might not be able to overcome. Can Anton keep his friends safe and save his beloved mate from the voices that call to him? Find out in this sequel to Sean Michael’s Bite.

smutty excerpt:
Anton closed the door as soon as they were inside the room, locking it. Then he had Greg in his arms, his mate's back hitting the wall. Some instincts were stronger than others, and this one had been there ever since Greg had walked into his home. This was his number one priority, his focus.
Greg snarled, the sound raw and rough and worried. He pressed their lips together, one thigh pushing between Greg's legs. Mate. His. Protect.
He growled happily as Greg spread, hips rocking against him, cock filling. Yes. Yes, Mate. His tongue tangled with Greg's, the kiss deep and hard, Greg’s goatee rubbing against his skin, almost like fur. Grabbing at Greg's clothes, he just barely managed to keep from ripping them from his mate's body.
Greg's fingers grabbed his hair, holding on, little growls and rumbles pushing into his mouth. It was sexy, having a true mate in his arms, someone who was as driven as he was to join, to love, to let the animal out.
He got Greg's shirt off, fingers pressing into the bare skin, nails dragging. Greg’s sounds got louder, needier, Greg's heart slammed against his chest. Anton tore his mouth from Greg's, finding a nice spot on Greg's neck. Worrying it, he began to pull up a mark as his fingers pinched and pulled at Greg's little nipples.
"Fuck me." Greg arched, fingers scraping along his spine. "Fuck me."
"Gonna." He would. He wanted to. He had to.
Anton growled as his fingers refused to work the button on Greg's jeans, but then it came loose and he yanked down the zipper. The smell of Greg hit him hard, making his knees buckle. He pressed up against Greg, groaning, teeth catching on his mate's skin.
That earned him a happy growl, Greg head-butting him, panting. "Don't. Tease."
He laughed, nearly howling, and turned Greg to face the wall as he pulled the jeans down. "I won't."
Greg helped, stripping out of his shoes, tattoos rippling and shifting as he stretched. Anton tore his own pants open, his prick pushing out eagerly. He touched Greg's hole, groaning as his fingers encountered the soft skin.
Dropping to his knees, he spread Greg's cheeks with his hands. Those lean hips pushed into his touch, Greg ready, eager, wanton. The scent here was pure Greg and it made him even harder, his cock aching, dripping with need. He licked at Greg's hole, tongue dragging across the wrinkled skin.
"Anton." He heard that low, single word, his name, as that tight hole jerked under his tongue.
Growling, he pushed his tongue into Greg's body, feeling it squeeze around him. Greg braced himself, pushed back into Anton's face, movements jerky and needy. He fucked his mate's ass with his tongue, wetting the tight hole, getting it ready for his cock.
"Need. Fuck." Greg's claws tore into the wall.
"Mine." He rose up, pushing into Greg without fanfare, just slamming into his mate.
"Yours." Greg howled, caught between him and the wall, hips jerking spasmodically.
He nodded, mouth closing over Greg's shoulder, biting as he took his lover. The muscles around his cock squeezed, rippling and working him. He let go of Greg's shoulder and bit closer to Greg's neck.
"Anton!" Greg pulled away and he bit again, marking, holding tight. His. Hips snapping, he drove the point home.
He felt Greg's orgasm, squeezing around him.
"Yes!" Growling softly, he held, waiting for Greg to finish before slamming home again and again until he came, too.
Greg slumped against the wall, whimpering softly. He leaned against his mate, still buried deep inside Greg's body. Groaning, he licked the sweat from Greg's shoulder, tongue sliding across his marks.

Smutterday - Bite
Resplendence recently republished my two volume werewolf series.
Here is the deets and a smutty excerpt for the first one - Bite.
Anton loves a well-prepared steak. That's all he's hoping for when he meets Greg, his new live-in chef. Anton is immediately attracted to Greg’s flamboyance and confidence and he finds himself wanting to know Greg better. Much better.
It's not just a normal attraction for Anton. He's an unusual man, with unusual desires, and Greg seems to be filling a place in Anton's life that he's never explored. Anton prefers to be a civilized man and not let his werewolf-self run free, but it’s the wolf that wants to claim Greg for a mate.
Someone disapproves of Anton's relationship with Greg. Someone close to Anton, someone inside his carefully controlled household. As he and Greg come closer to mating for life, the danger gets nearer, forcing them to depend on each other to stay safe, and for Greg to stay sane.
Can Anton convince Greg that his wolf would never hurt him and keep Greg safe from the menace outside their relationship, too? Sexy, razor sharp and fast-paced, Bite will keep your heart racing!

smutty excerpt:
"Easy, man. You want some berries and cream for dessert?"
"Depends." Anton sat and cut each fillet into four, and then speared each piece, barely seeming to chew before he swallowed it down.
"On what?" Christ, wolf it down.
Those dark grey eyes met his, almost glowing. "On how it's being served."
"Your guests got it on a silver platter..." Sex on a stick.
Anton looked at his plate like he was going to lick it clean. Of course when the man looked back up at him, Anton wore that same look. "I prefer a more personal service."
"More personal?" Was he being flirted with?
"Indeed. More personal. You are my chef after all, are you not?" Anton's gaze was intense.
"That's what it says on the job description, bossman..." The question was did Anton play the same games he did?
Oh man, look at the way those eyes caught the light. "Then feed me some of these berries and cream."
He headed to the refrigerator, found the leftovers and a plate. "You want to do this here, with everyone watching?"
Anton glanced around the room, looking surprised when his eyes lighted on the kids doing the dishes and jabbering quietly together. "No. My rooms."
"I..." He stopped, met Anton's eyes. "Is this going to lose me my job here? I'm off the clock for this, you know?"
Anton's eyes flashed. "This has nothing to do with your job." Just listen to that growl.
"Good answer." There was a little voice in the back of his head going, 'wait, what are you doing, are you stupid?'
It was completely drowned out by the voice singing the 'we're getting laid' song.
Anton stalked into the pantry and opened the hidden door, disappearing down the corridor. He followed, berries in hand, trying hard not to spill any. When he got to Anton's room, it was lit solely by the moon shining through the open window, and the dancing flames in the fireplace.
Anton himself lounged in the middle of the large chair, one leg flung over the chair's arm. There was an air of the predator emanating from the man.
"So, how do you want to do this? You just want a bite?"
Anton shifted, sitting up in the chair and patting his lap. "Have a seat and feed me properly, Greg. Though I won't forget your offer to bite."
Oh, hell. That was the sexiest thing he'd ever seen. He just stared, caught in the look in Anton's eyes.
Anton licked his lips. "Anytime."
"Sorry. Sorry, I... You have fascinating eyes." He headed over, bowl in hand. His words seemed to make Anton's eyes glow deeper—it was amazing how they reflected the flames like that.
Greg stepped forward, lips parted, the scent of berries strong on his nose. Mmm. He fit wonderfully, right there, right on Anton's thigh. One of Anton's hands landed on top of his leg, curling around it. The man's eyes glowed beneath half-closed lids, lips dark and shining where they'd been licked.
He spread a little, slipping a bite of dessert in Anton's lips. "Open up."
Anton opened up for the bite, eyes holding his as Anton slowly pulled the fruit and cream off the spoon. That pink tongue came out again, licking the corners of Anton's lips.
"Is it good?" Like he didn't know it was. Good.
"I'm not sure. I'll need another taste." That deep voice was low and quiet, intimate.
Shivers climbed up his belly. "I can do that."
One more spoonful slipped into the open lips.
"Mmm... I think I like it, but I need one more taste." Anton's hand stopped his. "Without the spoon this time."
"You want me to use my fingers? They're slick."
"Your fingers are one option."
He scooped up a raspberry, placing it on Anton's tongue.
Anton's lips closed over the tip of his finger, holding it for just a second, hot tongue flicking across the top before Anton leaned back and ate at the berry.
Oh, fuck, that was hot.
Like really.
"I'm liking it better with every taste."
"Mmm. You want a strawberry?" Greg dug one out, holding it carefully.
"Not from your fingers." Anton's gaze moved from the strawberry to his mouth.
"Perv." He let himself grin, wink. Then he leaned forward, strawberry caught in his lips.
"You don't know the half of it," whispered Anton just before sharp teeth caught hold of the strawberry.
Anton bit into the fruit, their lips pressing together as Anton chewed. He took a quick swipe of Anton's lips with his tongue, before backing off, teasing.
Groaning, Anton leaned forward, eyes just shining. "It's good. But I believe I like the taste of the chef better than his wares."
"Oh, man. Is that good or bad?" He rubbed noses with Anton, took a quick, quick kiss.
Anton chuckled, the sound deep and sexy, running along his spine like a touch. "It's good."
Fingers slid behind his head, held it in place as Anton leaned forward and brought their mouths together. The kiss started slow, almost tame, Anton seemed to search for something in his eyes. Anton's tongue was hot, wet, as it slid across his lips, but didn't demand entrance. Not yet. He touched the tip of Anton's tongue with his own, just barely tapping it before pulling away.
Groaning, Anton pressed their lips harder together, and now his tongue pressed against his lips. Greg dove into the kiss, pushing Anton back against the chair, fucking the soft lips, curious to see whether Anton would fight back. The groan turned into a growl, Anton's tongue tangling with his as they wrestled for control of the kiss.
Fucking hot. Greg loved an alpha male that could take what he needed. Loved it. Of course, that didn't mean it should be fucking easy. Greg moved closer, fingers tangling in Anton's heavy, thick hair. Anton bucked up against him, free hand sliding down to grab his ass. The other stayed on the back of his head, tilting it to give Anton better access as he took control of the kiss.
Yes. He wrapped his lips around Anton's, sucking hard. Anton's tongue swept through his mouth, the hand on his ass squeezing, rubbing him against the strong thigh he straddled. If he wasn't careful, he'd cream his Chef’s checkered pants, right there. Damn.
Anton's hand opened and closed, and then suddenly the man growled and twisted, putting him on the chair with Anton above him, the kiss going fierce.
Jesus. How did he... How did... "Oh." He opened up, hips bucking so that they could rub together, push and pull and hump.
Anton thrust against him, their crotches rubbing, hardness on hardness with too much fucking clothing between them. That wasn't bad. Wasn't bad at all. His toes curled and he groaned, balls drawing up like stones. Just like that.

The Hammer Club Novels
All the full length Hammer Club Novels are once again available! Re-publishing them has allowed me to make sure that they're not only listed as a part of the Hammer Club series, but that they're correctly numbered as well. The non-novel length Hammer books will be available again soon.
Marcus knows Jim is his minutes after meeting the snarly, jumpy ex-professor at the local bookstore. He thinks Jim is a natural submissive, someone who needs order and discipline in his life to help with Jim's anxiety and bad health habits. So Marcus decides to pursue Jim relentlessly, because even if Jim's mouth is saying no, his body is saying yes.
There's a lot more to Jim than meets the eye, and Marcus will have to be careful. Jim knows what it means to lose everything, knows what it's like to be without friends or family. Jim feels broken, and knowing that he likes the kinds of weird things Marcus wants to do to him only makes him scared that he's losing his mind.
Their chemistry is so real, so genuine, that Jim lets Marcus wear him down, lets Marcus take control. Eventually, his trust grows, allowing them to enter into the BDSM lifestyle together, learning about each other every day, with every scene. Jim is still uncertain sometimes, though, and he thinks Marcus might just want him because he's cracked. Can this top and bottom pair find a way to understand their wants and needs, and make a life that works for them alone?

Billy and Tanny are back again, working on their relationship and making their life together. What began in Found, and was built upon in Snared is now tested in Owned, as Billy pushes Tanny farther and harder into the world of dominance and submission, the world he knows Montana belongs in.
Billy's faith in Montana remains strong as he leads his boy through ups and downs to Tanny's subspace. That's the place where nothing else matters but the two of them; that place where the world and its worries just don't exist. That place where Montana can fly higher than he ever has before.
Things aren't going as well for everyone, though. Oliver's disappeared and Jack, his sub, doesn't know what to do. Lucky for Jack, the Hammer community, including Billy, is willing to gather around and help Jack with his needs, not to mention start looking for Oliver. Billy just hopes that they can find Oliver before something terrible happens, and that Montana can find it in him to forgive the Hammer's founding father for what he did before it's too late.

Gordon's a retired Drill Sergeant who's enjoying his life. He has his garden, his friends and access to the subs at the Hammer Club whenever he wants to indulge his Toppy side. When Billy and Marcus insist on introducing him to Frank, he has to admit, he's intrigued.
Frank is a cop turned private investigator who often helps out the men of the Hammer Club. He thinks they're all just a little bit off, but they're good guys for the most part, and he's happy to take their business. When he's introduced to Gordon at a party at the Hammer to welcome Oliver home after the events in Owned, his world is turned on its head.
Very much a loner, and self-contained, Frank must deal with having a partner who cares about him as more than just a good fuck. Frank also doesn't believe he's like all those little subs at the club, so he's not sure that a man like Gordon, a 'Top', is going to want him for more than the occasional make-out session. Can Gordon convince him he's wrong?

Dave is into BDSM, a member of The Hammer Club, and he thinks he could use his skills to help Marshall relieve the stress and guilt the man carries over not being the perfect hero. Movie Tuesday
On Sunday I went to see Deadpool. I had not seen any of the previews for it and I was not familiar with the comic books/lore, so I went in completely unspoiled and not quite sure what to expect. I wanted to see it because it's a marvel movie and I enjoy those on the whole, so I figured there was a good bet I'd like this one.
I loved it! From the opening credits which were hilarious and original (Written by: The Tue Heroes Here and I have to totally agree with that - the writing on this one was fantastic.)
The story telling was stellar. So many of the origin movies for the superhero/comic books are a little slow, a little boring. The real fun of the stories start after the beginning. This movie stopped that from happening by having a series of flashbacks, which totally worked because of Deadpool's penchant for breaking the fourth wall, like all the time. (and I understand he does this all the time in the comic books too).
It was part action movie, part love story and all snark. It totally earned it's adult rating on the situations and innuendo which it was full of. And it was nice to see a movie that didn't feel like it had been 'sanitized'. I am looking forward to the next one.
Then later in the afternoon I saw The Last Witch Hunter, which I didn't expect much of seeing as it had been in the theatres about two and a half minutes. But it had Vin Diesel in it and I'll put up with a lot for that.
It wasn't bad. It was no Deadpool, but it was entertaining and kept my interest throughout. And Vin Diesel had hair! On top of his head and a long beard and mustache! Not through the entire movie thank God, because wow, did he look strange. The bald head? Hot. Hairy head? Not so much.
So it was a good movie weekend!

My God It's Monday
It's funny how some Mondays really feel like they are MONDAYS and other ones are just another day. And it's not always because the day started early or you have fifty million things to do. Sometimes its just because that's how the day feels.
Today totally feels like a MONDAY just because. Maybe because I had a great weekend. I got a bunch of work done, and I also had some great downtime.
I visited the Viking Exhibit at the Museum of History on Saturday. It was fascinating because we hav such a one-dimensional view of the vikings as marauders and it totally was only a small aspect of their lives. And no horns on the hats! They used those to drink out of. Though I have to say, once you had liquid in there, you couldn't let go of it until it was empty.
After that I had lunch at this newish place downtown called Salt. Very fancy -- the chairs around the table were highbacks with dark blue plush fabric. It's not busy on Saturday afternoon so it was nice and quiet and the waiter was super attentive without being too much. I had the pork belly po-boy which honestly was more of a thick cut bacon than a pork belly and it suffered because of it. The bread was good, though, as was the arugula salad.
Came home and got a whole bunch of work done before relaxing for the rest of the evening.
Yesterday I got a bunch of work done in the morning, then went to see Deadpool. I knew nothing about it, and wasn't at all familiar with the comics or the lore. I have to say it was totally fun. Very adult in a good way. Then I had lunch at Lone Star. Queso, Buffalo Chicken Fajitas, and deep fried ice cream for the win! Oh yes, and a frozen lime margarita - I still love the one they do at the Lone Star the best.
Watched a movie on TV in the evening, and relaxed n the evening.
So it was a great weekend.
This week is going to be busy, but when aren't they? Bitten is being re-published by Resplendence on Wednesday and I have several submissions to hand in on the first of the month. I have the rest of the Hammer books to put up, and I have to decide what I'm going to do with all the rest of the ones that I've gotten my rights back on.
Meanwhile, Jackson is trapped—hurting and beaten—praying for rescue that looks unlikely, even as his time is running out.Meanwhile Greg is convinced he’s going crazy, fearing he’s hearing voices that won’t go away.
Look for it at Resplendence Publishing on Wednesday.
Happy Monday!

Throwback Thursday - Bent
Bent was the first of the Hammer Club books. When I started it, I didn't know it was going to be a series. I didn't know it was going to be a really big series. But I did know that Marcus and Jim were noisy, and have more words for me than anyone (except maybe the jarheads.) At some point, I realized that I had a good spot to end the book, which I did. The characters are still noisy to this day, though, and there is a second book planned. If I ever find the time for it!
Before I had finished writing Bent, I knew that the Hammer Club was something I'd have to revisit, that I had a million and one characters who were chomping at the bit to have their story told. The series is on-going and has spawned two side-series (The Briar Rose and Box of Nails) and I love playing with the men of the Hammer.
Bent is now self-published and available at both Amazon and All Romance Ebooks.

Movie Tuesday
Recently watched The Theory of Everything, about the life of Stephen Hawking from when he's diagnosed. What an amazing thing love and support can do - he was given two years, tops, to live. The movie is very good, especially if you're familiar with Stephen Hawking at all. I loved getting a little insight into how he thought and how his friends and family helped him to communicate long after he lost the ability to speak.
Watched the first three movies in the Steve Rogers arc - Captain America, the Avengers and The Winter Soldier. I liked Captain America better this time around than I had the original time I saw it. Which puts Iron Man movies as the only ones of the Avengers series that I really don't care for. I'm glad they 'redeemed' Tony Stark in the third Iron Man movie, but I really don't care that much for the character and have no desire to see the movies againMy favorites in this franchise remain the Thor movies, along with the two Avengers movies.
I have to admit that I am looking forward to both Deadpool and the Suicide Squad. I am not familiar with the comics/lore for either of them and that's the way I like it.
Something called Blue Seduction was on TV the other day and the blurb sounded interesting, so I DVR'd it. I gave it a half hour and it was lucky it got that long -- big old do not recommend on that one.
Watched The Man From Uncle which was great fun. Almost like the original bond movies, with that tongue in cheek by play between the male leads to go along with the spy plot and action sequences. I had never seen the original series, so I had no real expectations going in.
Then I watched The Martian. I loved this movie. And while, no, I wouldn't classify it as a comedy oh Golden Globe people, it was funny and it was funny throughout. The book it was based on is now on my reading list. A book which started its life as a free download on the author's webpage before being picked up by a publisher. How cool is that? I hope he got a kazillion dollars for the movie rights.
Movies coming to the theater in the next few months that I am looking forward to, although most will no doubt be watched via BluRay on my TV than on the big screen:
Deadpool
Gods of Egypt
10 Cloverfield Lane
Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (I'm not sure I want to see this one, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to want to see the Justice League ones that follow, so I'll have to give this one a look)
The Huntsman: Winter's War
Captain America: Civil War
Xmen: Apocalypse
Alice: Through the Looking Glass
We'll see how many I manage to actually get to in the theater. I'll bet there's some goodies coming out over the summer as well, but I'll anticipate those closer to the time.

My God It's Monday
Well, it's like Winter's been taking a nap and he just woke up. We've had a few days of deep freeze weather. Now that it's warmed up again we're expecting 20-40 centimeters of snow tomorrow!
I love it. I also love that in order to snow, the weather always has to warm back up. It's one of the great things about snow. One of like a million. Have I mentioned lately that I love snow? I totally do!
I had a lovely dinner last night. Shrimp in the appetizer, shrimp, scallops and mussels in the main. I do like my seafood so much. I had lobster and snow crab legs at Joe's Crab Shack in Florida. I love how sweet the shellfish meat tastes. And lobster meat totally tastes different depending on what part of the lobster you're eating.
My only issue with lobster and crab is that I hate fighting to get to my food. Crab legs especially by the time you've got any meat out, it's not longer that warm (which dipping it into a hot garlic butter will help with, admittedly). And I had three wounds on my hands from fighting the lobster and crab that evening. However, it was succulent and delicious no matter how hard I had to fight it.
So yeah, seafood is yum. A nice rare filet mignon (beef tenderloin) is also yum. Nicely seasoned and soft enough that even my fork goes through it like butter. Guh. Of course, I love a good hamburger, too. I'm definitely a meat-a-tarian.
I'm thinking I'm going to have Chinese food tonight. I do love a good eggroll, some General Tso's chicken. Lemon chicken. Chicken fried rice. Beef with Broccoli... okay, let's face it, I like food.
So this week I have edits back from two different publishers. I have submissions to send in to two other publishers. And I'm still working on getting the Hammer books back up on Amazon and All Romance Ebooks. Then there's the webpage which needs rebuilding. There's the two stories due in at the end of the month, the new self-pub I want to get to my editor by the end of the month, the other half dozen stories that are started and demanding attention, another half dozen chomping at the bit to be started... okay, so it's going to be a pretty busy week!
Mondays are always the days of ohmygodthereisfivemillionthingstodothisweekyoudbeettergetstartedwiththepanickingnowohmygod.
So I guess it's a good thing I got started on that.
I wish you all a fantastic week, no matter how your Monday started.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Last year I did a smutty Valentine lead-up from February 1 - February 14. This year I didn't get a chance to do anything like that. You can find last year's Valentine's Day bits here. There's fiction and yummy pics to go with it.
So this is my Valentine's Day card to my readers this year.
I have much love for my readers - you make my day on a daily basis. You honestly do.
I was lucky enough to meet a bunch of you at Coastal Magic and it was wonderful. If I could meet you all, I would sign up for that in a flash.
A sincere thank you to you all from the bottom of my heart.
Will you be my Valentine?
Much love,
Sean

The Box of Nails Series
The Box of Nails series of books is once again available!
Devon used to be a server at the Hammer Club, the most exclusive BDSM club in town. But that was before he inherited a lot of money from his grandmother and decided to buy a big old house and convert it into apartments for Hammer Club waiters. It's hard to find decent, affordable housing and he wants to do something good for his fellow twinks. Unfortunately the house is in much worse repair than he knew when he bought it and he's slowly drowning under the weight of the demands from both the house, and the boys who live in it.
Enter Barney, the contractor Devon calls in for an emergency fix of the building's pipes. Barney's heard of the Hammer Club, in fact he's saving up for a membership, but it's going to take a while on his blue collar salary. He falls for Devon on the spot and can only hope the feeling is mutual. He also wants to make sure none of Devon’s twink friends are running roughshod over the man, and he’s determined to help.
Can they work together to find a way to keep Devon, and his old house, afloat?

When Barney’s friend, police officer Angus, attends a summer party at the house, he catches sight of Mike in the shadows and is immediately drawn to the young man. Mike is clearly in need of help and that’s what Angus does best.
Will Mike let Angus in? And if he does, is there anything Angus can do to help Mike out of the nightmares of his past?

The Briar Rose Series
The Briar Rose Series of books are all republished!
Having moved out east, Matt and Adam have renovated the big old house they bought, turning it into The Briar Rose, a BDSM B&B. With Adam's experience as a professional sub and Matt's patience and knowledge, they hope to help other couples find their way in the BDSM lifestyle.
Their first guests are Jackson and Burger, a well-known singer and his manager. The couple are not exactly what Adam and Matt expect, but they do what they can to help the other men learn to communicate and find trust.
Singer Jackson has just had an operation on his vocal chords and has been ordered not to speak for at least two weeks, something he's having a hard time doing. Burger brings Jackson to the Briar Rose in the hopes of not only keeping the singer resting and quiet, but in rekindling their on-again-off-again love affair and making it on-again, permanently. Can they find what they need at The Briar Rose?
Matt and Adam first appeared in Sold, a Hammer novel, and are the foundation for the Briar Rose series.

Matt and Adam from Sold are back once again at the Briar Rose, their BDSM B&B. This time their guests are lovers and Dom/sub pair Gaston and Parker who need their help reaching a goal.
A committed pair in the BDSM lifestyle, Gaston and Parker have been together for six years. Parker works hard to be the best sub he can be, to be worthy of Gaston, but try as he has, he can’t come on command without a touch to his cock and he knows it’s totally his fault.
Booking a week at the Briar Rose, Gaston is hoping that between a week away from home with no other distractions, and help from Matt and Adam, he and Parker will be able to achieve their goal – together.
Will Gaston be able to overcome Parker’s insecurities or will they have to let this particular aspect of their play go?

Matt and Adam are back and this time they’re welcoming two established Master/sub pairs who want to play together. Without ruining their friendship.
Subs Peter and Max have been best friends forever, since before they met their masters. They were lovers once, but both men needed the influence of a Dom to stay on an even keel. Happily in love with their masters, Devon and Swan, the boys nonetheless want more.
Devon and Swan care deeply for each other and are willing to give becoming something more a try and the Briar Rose seems like the perfect place to give it a go. As neutral ground, if things go wrong, they should be able to put the whole thing behind them and go back to their lives as simply friends.
Can Devon, Peter, Swan, and Max become the blended family they yearn to be?

My God It's Monday - the post Coastal Magic edition
So I attended my very first con -- Coastal Magic Convention in Daytona, Florida. I was very nervous beforehand - I'm shy, I'm introverted, I've never done anything like this before, I'm not great speaking in front of a bunch of people I don't know, etc.
And I have to say -- I loved it!
Best thing of all was meeting all the wonderful people. The other writers, the bloggers, the readers. Everyone was so very nice that talking to people I'd never spoken to before was way easier than I'd expected, way easier than it usually is. I especially enjoyed meeting the readers and I'd have to say that is going to be the thing that stands out the most, the conversations with people, whether one on one or in groups.
I even managed my very first panel without too much trouble. I, of course, was on the sizzle and burn panel -- talk about jumping in with both feet. The first question was 'what's the strangest kink you've written' and I was the first to answer -- prostate milking -- I kid you not, which I then had to explain what it was. And if I can do that, I should be able to tackle any panel, eh?
Cinema Craptastique was hilarious fun (aside from the fact that the wifi sucked hard and I wound up not being able to participate in the twitter portion of it).
I enjoyed the panels I attended.
The Fistful of Rainbows Meet & Greet (complete with rainbow tailed butt plug) that I was a part of was a success and I have to say, the roomful of people we had sure knew a lot of kinks/fetishes - as BA said, these are our people!
The lunch with readers was an absolute joy.
The signing - my first - was neat and I got to talk to a lot of people there, too.
The game night after that was more of a winding down, and I got to speak to a number of people I'd met during the con.
So my first convention was a success and I'd like to go back to Coastal Magic again.
I got home yesterday evening and sat in my chair and promptly fell asleep until it was time to go up to bed! Today I'm just trying to get stuff done and get organized and make sure I answer emails and figure out what books I never promo'd and and and. Yeah. A little busy ;)
I hope Monday's being good to you!

And I have to say -- I loved it!

My God It's Monday
Forget Monday - My God it's February!
I see that 2016 is going to fly by just as quickly as 2015 did, perhaps even faster.
I'm getting my stuff together for the Coastal Magic Con - it'll be my first convention and I'm looking forward to meeting people. Of course, we've had a pretty mild winter so far, but they're calling for a winter storm with mixed precipitation ending in icing on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and I fly out Wednesday afternoon... I've got my fingers crossed the weather doesn't affect my flight.
I know I haven't been posting all that much, but I've been super busy between deadlines and trying to get all the books back up. I shall try to be more consistent going forward. Or at least after the Coastal Magic Con!
Speaking of Coastal Magic, I shall be taking part in the Cinema Craptastique on Thursday night. We'll be watching something called Abduction and live tweeting so people at home can play along. I have to admit that I've never even heard of the movie!
The next installment in the Beer & Clay series -- Fermenting -- is now available for pre-order at Pride Publishing

Christian needs what Peter has to give him, but will he let himself have it?
With Toby’s stalker behind bars, Damon and Toby can relax and enjoy their relationship, sinking into basking and reveling in each other.
Things are just heating up for Peter and Christian, though. A former soldier, Christian still hasn’t found his subspace and he’s worried it either doesn’t exist or he’s simply doing it wrong. Peter has as much patience as he needs, though, and he slowly pushes Christian to the edges of his limits, doing everything he can to help Christian grow and flourish.
Christian’s training and the cafĂ© they’re opening create good excuses for Christian to keep from submitting, even though, deep down, it’s what he really wants. Peter’s perseverance will have to work overtime to overcome them.
Will Christian ever give in to the things he knows he needs? Only time will tell.
Available for pre-order here.
Okay, I've still got a couple deadlines to hit, so back to it for me.
Meanwhile, if you didn't catch Bite the first time around, this werewolf novel is being reprinted by Resplendence and will be out on Wednesday! Cover, blurb and buys links will be here as soon as I have the links on Wednesday :)
Have a good Monday all!
