Christmas morning meant sleeping an extra hour or so, though Marcus rarely found himself actually sleeping. Instead, he would hold his baby, watch Jim sleep, the long hair in tangled disarray, the handsome face relaxed. Jim looked so carefree as he slept, the brush of worry and stress and pain eased away completely. Even the crow's feet that had begun creeping in around his baby's eyes were practically gone as he slept.

This morning Jim's ass was still warm and pink from a good paddling before they'd gone to bed, and his morning wood tented the sheets. Marcus' own need was nestled happily against said ass, Jim's skin hot. 

He tugged the covers down a touch, so he could admire the ink that covered Jim's skin. He knew it by heart, and yet he could spend hours looking at it, admiring.

He chuckled softly to himself. All these years and he was still as smitten with his boy as he had been from the start. He really couldn't ask for more than that. Merry Christmas to him.

My God It's Monday

But I'm not having a bad Monday today - just a busy one. Lots of cookie-making going on, as well as bits and pieces here and there, plus I've got word count to hit today.

Woke up to lots of snow on the ground. It was still snowing, too - in fact it still is. So beautiful. And it's not the smallest snow, so there's also the quietening blanketing effect. I just love it.

The bird feeder out the back is calling to all sorts of birds today. Little junkets with their white bellies and dark backs, a cardinal, the morning doves, sparrows, and I've seen the black squirrel and two little red squirrels. I tried to take pictures of the red ones, but they're jumpy and wouldn't stick around.

I have my seat booked next Saturday at 10 am at the IMAX theatre to see Rogue One. I'm really looking forward to it.

Tomorrow is evening is another family celebration for Christmas. Then that's it until Christmas Eve.
