Smutterday - The Needy Boy

Time for a smutty excerpt!

The Needy Boy

An old high school sweetheart might be just the man for a needy sub.

Busy bakery owner and Dom Jack has neglected romance to build his business, but he’s ready to find his special man. He agrees to go on a blind date set up by his friend Tide. Imagine his surprise when he comes face-to-face with the boy he loved as a teenager.

Peter curates a niche antique shop specializing in sex toys and kink from the past. His extreme neediness has cost him relationships before, and it won’t be easy to open up and reveal the true extent of his desires.

Both Jack and Peter have changed in the past decade, but they’ve only become more compatible, with preferences that complement each other perfectly and chemistry that flares back to life with a speed that amazes them. But Peter fears he’ll drive Jack away as he has so many others, and Jack will have to work hard to earn Peter’s trust.

Available at Amazon/KU.

Smutty Excerpt:

Jack cupped his cheeks and tilted his head, then brought their lips together. Peter hummed softly, wanting nothing more than to press in, rub on Jack like a cat in heat.

The kiss started out soft, like the first one had, but he felt it down to his toes. He opened up, a long moan escaping him. Jack slid one hand behind his head and tilted it to deepen the kiss. He leaned into Jack’s hand, his world shattering into a million gorgeous pieces.

Groaning, Jack swept his tongue through Peter’s mouth, kissing him like a starving man. Jack dropped his other hand to the small of Peter’s back, a gasp filling Peter’s mouth. Then Jack stroked the bottom edges of the corset through his shirt.

Peter’s eyes went wide. Uh-oh. How was he going to explain the corset? What if…?

Jack didn’t stop kissing him, seeming undeterred by what he was feeling. Maybe he didn’t understand. Whatever. Jack’s kisses were an addiction, and Peter didn’t want them to stop.

At length, Jack broke off the kiss and leaned their foreheads together. “I could kiss you until dawn, but then I might sleep through our playdate tomorrow. And more than ever I want to see you again.”

Excerpt

JACK TRENCO walked along the street, people watching. Trying to distract himself would be more accurate. He hadn’t been on a date in years, let alone a blind date. He still wasn’t sure how he’d been bamboozled into this one, except that Tide was damn convincing. And somehow Tide had known his storefront was closed on Mondays so he could have dinner at a normal hour on Sunday night.

So here he was, on his way to Regulation, Toronto’s newest trendy restaurant, to meet this Peter, who was apparently a friend of Tide’s partner Lance. He was still surprised at himself for saying yes. He supposed he was a little lonely, though. Building a business took a lot of work, and it left little time for socializing. And if his being alone also had to do with the fact that maybe he was picky, well, that was all right by him. There was nothing wrong with being picky.

Checking his watch, he slowed a little. He would be right on time at this gentler pace, which suited him fine. He didn’t mind being a little early but hated being late. He liked punctuality, in himself and in others. Whether or not his date was on time would form his first impression of the guy.

A blind date. He hadn’t realized people even did that anymore. He thought it was all swipe left this and meet at a club that. Apparently not. He was wearing a white rose in one of his buttonholes, for Christ’s sake, and he’d know his date the same way. That was pretty cheesy, right? Or possibly a little old-fashioned and a bit romantic. Okay, he could live with those.

Arriving at the restaurant at precisely 8:00 p.m., he went in, scanning the crowd for a man with a white rose. It was very modern inside, all sleek lines and dark tables with red, blue, and yellow chairs he hoped were more comfortable than they looked. If he was going to give this blind date a chance, it would be helpful if the seating was inviting, or at least didn’t make him uncomfortable from the get-go. He turned his focus back to looking for his white-flowered date.

He saw the rose before the man. It stood out on a dapper tweed jacket worn over a burnt orange shirt. He looked down first, admiring the lean lines, the tiny waist. Nice. Very nice. He puffed up a little, hoping he was making a good first impression as well. He worked out on a regular basis, but more than that, his job kept his arms and torso in fighting form, and he knew he had a good body.

He looked up to see his date’s face.

He blinked, and suddenly he was sixteen again, gazing at Peter Jameson across his bedroom after they’d shared their first kiss. The coppery beard and mustache were new, but the blue eyes and the heavy shock of hair were just the same. Peter had been his first love, back when life was so much simpler. That kiss had rocked his world at the time.

He stared for far longer than was polite, lost in the sweet memories. Then he shook himself and held out his hand. “Peter? Peter Jameson, I can hardly believe that’s you.”

“Jacky. Oh my God!” Peter’s eyes lit up, and instead of the polite greeting of a blind date, Jack got a huge hug. “It’s really you? You’re my blind date?”

He held on and squeezed Peter for a moment before stepping back. He couldn’t contain his grin, pleased that Peter seemed as happy as he was at this turn of events. “Looks like I am. What an amazing coincidence. God, it’s been forever.” Not since the week after graduation, when life had taken them in different directions. It hadn’t been a breakup either of them had really wanted, but it had been the right thing to do.

“Ten years? At least. I…. God, I can’t believe this.” Peter looked as surprised as Jack felt.

Laughing, Jack gave Peter another hug.

Top Ten Tuesday

I thought today I'd list my current top ten favorite cookies - homemade. Of course, this list changes on a regular basis, but this is my favorite ten today. I've put the links to recipes in if I have them.

Top Ten Favorite Homemade Cookies

10. Chocolate Chip cookies. I like them, but the aren't the big fave. I alway try a different recipe when I get a yen to make them.

9. Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies. I think I like these better than the chocolate chip cookies because there's more chew from the oatmeal.

8. Almond Joy Cookies. Eating these really are just like eating an almond joy. And they're super simple - just 4 ingredients!

7. Chocolate Stars. I make these every year at Christmas too. They're made with icing sugar and cocoa and have just a touch of cinnamon in them that really makes the flavor.

6. Meringues. These don't always work out because if it's too humid they don't try out properly, but I usually do better with the overnight ones. I omit the chocolate chips and chopped nuts. At christmas I will put crushed candy canes into them. And I love throwing them in a piping bag and having fun with them. I love how they just melt in your mouth.

5. Cranberry Swirls. This always makes the final cut for holiday cookies because they are one of my favorites.

4. Pecan Pie Cookies. I was really skeptical about this one until I had them. They are so good. I use homemade pie crust instead of storebought and I omit the chocolate drizzle.

3. Cinnamon Chip Snickerdoodles. Nothing like upping the cinnamon quotient by adding cinnamon chips. Which I can't get here - I always try to bring some back when I visit New Mexico.

2. Lemon Rhubarb Cookies. As you might know, I love rhubarb, but I was having trouble finding a cookie recipe that I really liked. Until I found this one. Lemon and rhubarb and both shine. Guh.

1. Skor Toffee Bits Cookies. These are my current favorites and soooo good. If I'm bringing cookies anywhere, it's these.

Movie Monday

Or as it sometimes is - like today - movie adjacent monday.

I binged a couple of shows on Netflix over the weekend. All the episodes of Wu Assassin and all but the last 3 episodes of Glitch.

a
bit
of

spoilers

Wu Assassin was fun and lots of kung fu fighting. Actually, a lot of it reminded me of Jackie Chan movies, where he uses all the stuff around him to fend off the bad guys. The plot was interesting enough, there was a bit of magic thrown in and totally watchable from start to finish in a sitting (10 episodes.)

Glitch is... Australian. It's a zombie movie without traditional zombies. It's bizarre but really good. I do like coming across shows that aren't from North America. They're quite different and I usually enjoy them a lot. There's two seasons - six episodes each. And I'm interested to see where they're going to take it. I just have the last 3 episodes of season 2 to finish. I hope it doesn't get left on too big of a cliffhanger!

It's sort of sci-fi and definitely a drama and the previously dead people pretty much let it all hang out. Also I do love the Aussie accent.

I give both two thumbs up.

Top Ten Tuesday

With it being summer and having access to all sort of fresh-picked fruit I thought it would be fun to do a fruity top ten.

Top Ten Favorite Fruit

10. Lemons. I love sour and lemons have that in spades. I love lemonade and lemon desserts.

9. Apples. I love a good apple - especially a nice tart one like the MacIntosh.

8. Pomegranite. It's a pain in the ass to separate all the aliles out, but man, they do taste good.

7. Pineapple. Deliciosu and slurpworthy.

6. Grapes. I like the green and the red ones equally, but I always prefer the smaller ones.

5. Peaches. This time of year is the only time I eat them, because they just don't taste the same the rest of the year.

4. Strawberries. So damn good, when it's fresh picked and local.

3. Rhubarb. Tart tart tart - yum! This is my favorite fruit to cook with.

2. Raspberries. Tart and sweet and yum, especially fresh off the bush.

1. Bing Cherries. Unfortunately I can't have more than a few before my throat starts to close.

Movie Monday

Watched 2 movies over the last week: The new Hellboy and The Great Wall.

Leaving

some

space

for

those

avoiding

spoilers

Hellboy wasn't a bad movie. It's biggest problem was that it wasn't quite sure what it wanted to be. And it was weirdly put together.  I can't remember the original enough to say this one was worse or better. Clearly the first one isn't on my top ten or even twenty-five movies, so there's that.

The Great Wall was... a little slow, a little eh, and also thank goodness they had the white man show up to save the day, despite the fact that they'd been training all their lives for this and had the black powder to boot. *rolls eyes*

So, two movies that weren't an entire waste of my time but I'm super glad with both that I didn't go see them in the theatre.
